Twins power failure strikes again in Yankees clubhouse – New York Post

MINNEAPOLIS — As it did during their visit to Target Field in July, the Yankees’ clubhouse was hit by a power failure Monday that left Aaron Boone’s office and other areas in the dark. The TVs and a few lights weren’t affected.

“It always does it here so we are used to it,’’ Boone said of the lights going out as the Yankees hitters started a pre-game meeting.

Boone said the outage didn’t affect the Yankees preparation for Game 3 of the ALDS, which his club led 2-0 and was looking to clinch.

“No. We know when they go for the hitters’ meeting, something with the use of the power, the lights go off in certain areas,’’ Boone said. “My office for one. So it kind of goes in and out a little bit.’’
