I’ve gotten as much as about 2 hours a day of coaching lately, principally driving but in addition power coaching and my PT for my again and hips. My physique appears to be tolerating it effectively and it feels good.
Some memorable rides included final Tuesday once I rode with my group out to the tip of Redwood retreat highway and again, posted right here on Strava. Then on Sunday I did a tough exercise consisting of higher physique power coaching and PT, adopted by a brisk trip out the Coyote Creek path to Bernal highway, switching to Monterey freeway on my means again. I additionally threw in some laborious intervals. That felt nice on the time however I used to be fairly drained afterwards so I took it simpler yesterday.
I’ll be visiting my brother in a few weeks in Phoenix, and I need to lease a motorbike whereas I’m down there to trip a few of the canal trails. This can be an upright. Since I usually trip a recumbent, and haven’t put as a lot mileage lately on my upright, my butt is just not as toughened up because it must be, so I’ll be placing extra mileage on the upright in preparation, as I did on final Tuesday’s, Friday’s, and yesterday’s rides.
